NDDOT I-94 Reconstruction

NEAR HEBRON & ANTELOPE, NORTH DAKOTA

The NDDOT Dickinson District reconstructed 12.9 miles of westbound Interstate 94 near Hebron and Antelope, ND. The project included removal of the existing roadway, 18” subgrade preparation, concrete mainline paving with asphalt shoulders, asphalt paving at interchanges, bridge deck overlays, culvert jacking or boring, culvert extensions, guardrail improvements, and pier protections.

Above all else, traffic control for motorist and construction crew safety was a top priority for this project. Upon securing a safe roadway and construction site, the team focused on managing multiple construction operations in order to deliver the project on time and on budget. The project was substantially completed in November 2019 and achieved final completion by May 2020.
