RCWD, Snake Creek Campground Transmission Line

NEAR PLATTE, SOUTH DAKOTA

Snake Creek Campground, owned and operated by the SD GF&P, is a popular camping, boating, and fishing destination near Lake Francis Case and the scenic Missouri River. With the upcoming SDDOT Platte-Winner bridge replacement over the Missouri River, the current water service line to the park was going to be impacted. Brosz Engineering worked with GF&P and DOT staff to find an alternative route that would be clear of future construction. The park has also consistently experienced low water pressures within the campground. To mitigate the pressure issue and accomodate GF&P future growth, Brosz designed a new upsized waterline. RCWD self-performed the waterline installation and used the project to showcase a new trenching machine and pipe fusion equipment.

Brosz Engineering is proud to partner with RCWD to provide planning, permitting, design, and construction administration services.
